FAQ's

1) I’m still a little confused, what exactly is capoeira?
Capoeira combines martial arts, acrobatics,  and music all in one discipline. There are punches and kicks, cartwheels and backflips, singing and playing of instruments. Putting them together is what makes capoeira so addictive!

2) Is there contact in capoeira?
There is full contact in capoeira, but generally the goal is not to knock out nor submit the person you are playing with.
Kicks in capoeira are circular allowing a game to develop. As students advance, straight kicks, take-downs, and acrobatic sequences make the game more exciting.


3) How often should I train?
Training three times per week is optimal, but training once a week consistently will give you positive results.
